Engine for Art, Democracy & Justice
Venice, Italy 2026
Overview
Extended from their participation in the 61st La Biennale di Venezia by Koyo Kouoh, María Magdalena Campos-Pons and Kamaal Malak facilitated a dialogue series about the global future of art in collaboration with Engine for Art, Democracy & Justice and Vanderbilt University. Curated by Grace Aneiza Ali & Selene Wendt, Resonance was a palazzo-based laboratory of ideas and art through exhibitions and public programming at Fondazione Giorgio e Armanda Marchesani in Venice, Italy. The palazetto was reimagined as a living forum where ideas, artistic practice, and dialogue unfold over a season of performances, sonic sessions and poetic encounters, conversations and gatherings.
