Overview
Sara Sadik’s 2023 commission LA POTION (EH), for BMW Open Work, in partnership with Frieze London, continued the artist's exploration of the emotions of marginalised young men and their transformation. The work followed an avatar, Neregy, across different worlds and in various states of alienation, anxiety, melancholy and serenity – through an interactive video game.
The installation was presented on the public-facing terrace of KOKO and inside the BMW Lounge and coincided with a series of events and performances at KOKO, headlined by Loyle Carner.
